As one of the nation’s premier humanitarian organizations, the American Red Cross is dedicated to helping people in need throughout the United States and, in association with other Red Cross networks, throughout the world. They depend on the many generous contributions of time, blood, and money from the American public to support lifesaving services and programs.
This is my class project to make PSA for a non-profit organization. I remember I donated blood for the first time when I was 18 years old, so I chose American Red Cross. I learned a great lesson from my class, I as a designer have a duty to help to make a better world so this project was very important to me to have an influence on the audience to donate blood to save the life not only one but three life.
My concept is using simple shape "circle" as representing people and showing how one can affect on each other like a domino game.
I am inspired by Persian poem from Saadi Shirazi called Bani Adam (Human being):
Human beings are members of a whole,
In creation of one essence and soul.
If one member is afflicted with pain,
Other members uneasy will remain.
If you have no sympathy for human pain,
The name of human you cannot retain.

Love is connecting hearts
Of men, women and children.
If one is afflicted with pain,
like a member of the whole,
Others, troubled, will remain.
Your one blood donation can save the hearts of up to three people.
